hey y'all! My name is Shanlee Collier and I am the woman behind the camera. I officially started my photography business in 2023. Throughout my teenage years I was the girl "always taking photos". My friends used to get so annoyed with me because I would always make them smile for a picture or making them wait so I could get a photo. Working in healthcare for 4 years, with majority of my career in a nursing home, I saw so many touching moments, sad moments, even some happy ones. One thing I heard often from my patients friends and family was "I wish I had a picture with them". This lead me to one of my mottos in life... "Memories fade from our minds and people don't live forever so hug each other and take the pictures!"
Life When The Camera Is Down
I have been married since May of 2021 to my amazing husband Taten and in July of 2023 we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Wrenley. We call the beautiful mountians of WNC home! Before having my daughter, I worked in the medical field. Very shortly after her arrival, we made the decision for me to stay home with her. In October of 2023 I finally decided to open my business! My husband and family have been nothing but supportive since day 1. If we aren't working then we are spending time together as a family adventuring wether it is in our backyard or states away.

My Style
As a photographer my main goal is to capture what is important to YOU! My "specialty"? Simple. YOU!
Family, Maternity, Mommy/Daddy&Me, Couples, Senior and Styled. At the end of our session I want you to leave with a smile on your face and a full heart. When you receive your images back I want your smile bigger and your heart fuller. Life is always "posed" so I grab a lot of the "in-between". During a session with me you will hear me say "pretend I am not here" or "do what feels comfortable" this is so important to me. Going into a photography session can be scary and make you feel anxious but I want to make you feel comfortable and safe to be yourself.
